Wheelie Bin Transfer Description

This double pillar Wheelie Bin Transfer system is designed to lift and tip at a discharge height of 1350mm. The Wheelie Bin Transfer is constructed from stainless steel and is mobile on castors. The lifting is accomplished via a chain driven by a motor gearbox mounted at the top of the main column with a cross over shaft to the other column.

Safety Guard to PD 5304 Safety of Machinery

The Wheelie Bin Transfer safety guard is constructed from 50 x 25mm stainless steel box section and 1.5mm stainless steel panels to meet the requirements of PD 5304 Safety of Machinery. It encloses the Wheelie Bin Transfer to a height of 2200mm on two sides, 900mm at the front with a hinged door on the fourth side. The guard door is electrically and mechanically interlocked preventing the Wheelie Bin Transfer from operating with the door open. In addition, the guard door can only be opened when the lifting carriage is at the full down position. The Wheelie Bin Transfer control system has provision for a ‘Call for Product’ signal to be connected.

Wheelie Bin Transfer Application Story

This Wheelie Bin Transfer system was designed to lift and tip a 240 Litre SUMO Wheelie Bin. The bins arrived at the Wheelie Bin Transfer system often only part filled and needed to be decanted to make full bins to reduce the disposal transportation costs. The contents of the bins were tipped through the transfer chute to make full bins.
